This policy explains how we collect, use and share information when you use the Cadence app and website at clickcadence.app. "We" and "us" means Isaiah Duran, doing business as Cadence, who runs Cadence. If you live in Washington, Nevada or another state with a consumer health data law, our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy also applies to you.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your first and last name, email address, phone number and password. Your password is stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider, so we can't read it.
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and a Google account identifier. Google may also send your profile picture; Cadence doesn't use it.
- Health information you enter: the peptides you track, doses and units, how you take them, schedules, cycles and reminder times, vial contents and mixing amounts, the doses you log or skip and when, injection sites and notes. We treat all of this as sensitive health information.
- Preferences: reminder settings, your injection-site rotation and whether a calendar is connected.
- Consent records: when you agreed to our Terms and policies, and which version.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Service data: when you use Cadence, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, times and error reports. It's used to deliver and secure Cadence and to produce overall visit statistics.
- On your device: Cadence keeps a copy of your data and your sign-in session in your browser's storage so it works offline and keeps you signed in. Signing out removes Cadence's copy of your data from that device.
Cadence doesn't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site tracking. We don't collect your precise location, contacts, photos or payment information.
How we use information
- To provide Cadence: run your account, keep your data in sync across your devices, show your schedule and history, send reminders and do the calculations you ask for.
- To contact you about your account: sign-up confirmations, password resets, security notices and important changes to our terms or policies. We don't send marketing emails.
- Your phone number is part of your account details so we can identify your account and reach you about it if needed. We don't send texts or make marketing calls. If we ever offer text reminders, we'll ask for your permission first.
- To keep Cadence secure and working, including preventing abuse and fixing errors.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms.
We don't use your health information for advertising or marketing, we don't build profiles about you, and we don't use your information to train AI models. We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, Cadence receives your name, email address and Google account identifier to create and secure your account.
If Google Calendar sync is offered and you connect it, Cadence asks only for permission to manage calendars it creates. It creates a "Peptides" calendar and adds, updates and removes dose events on that calendar only; it can't see your other calendars or events. The access Google grants stays in your browser's memory and isn't stored on our servers. We store only the IDs of the calendar and events Cadence created, so it can keep them up to date. You can disconnect in Settings, which also deletes that calendar, or remove Cadence's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Cadence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use Google user data for advertising, don't sell it, and don't let anyone read it except with your permission, for security, or to comply with the law.
How long we keep information
- Your account and health information stay until you delete them or your account.
- When you delete an entry, its details are removed from your account. A marker with no health details stays so the deletion reaches your other devices; it's removed when you delete your account.
- When you delete your account, your account, profile and all synced data are deleted from our database right away. Copies in our providers' routine backups are deleted as those backups expire. Other devices signed in to your account are signed out, and their copies cleared, the next time Cadence opens on them while online.
- Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of it.
- Service data held by our hosting provider is kept for a limited period under its own retention practices.
How we protect information
Your data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with a provider that encrypts it at rest. Database rules make sure each account can reach only its own data. Passwords are hashed, and new ones are checked against lists of leaked passwords. Only the people who operate Cadence can access the database, and only when needed to run, support or secure it.
No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong password and sign out on shared devices. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- See and export: everything you've entered is visible in the app, and Settings → Your data → Export backup downloads a copy.
- Correct: edit peptides and doses in the app, and your name and phone number in Settings → Account.
- Delete: delete single entries, erase all your data in Settings → Your data, or delete your account in Settings → Account.
- Withdraw consent: Cadence can't work without storing what you log, so withdrawing consent means deleting your account. Do it in Settings, or email us and we'll do it for you.
- Notifications: turn reminders off in Settings or in your browser's settings.
You can also email us at cadencessupport@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and Washington, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale, targeted advertising or profiling. We don't sell personal information, target ads or profile you, so there's nothing to opt out of, but you can still ask.
We'll verify a request by confirming it comes from your account's email address, and we'll respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we'll respond to the appeal within 45 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general. Where the law allows, an authorized agent may make a request for you. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: Cadence doesn't track you across other websites, so it doesn't change how it works for Do Not Track signals. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale and targeted advertising, which we don't do anyway.
Children
Cadence is only for adults 18 and older, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
If you're outside the United States
Cadence is designed for use in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your explicit consent to process your health information, on our contract with you to provide your account, and on our legitimate interest in keeping Cadence secure. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your information, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect and ask for your consent again where the law requires it. The effective date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
