This policy explains how we collect, use and share consumer health data, as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and similar laws in other states. "We" means Isaiah Duran, doing business as Cadence, who runs Cadence. Our Privacy Policy covers other personal information.
Consumer health data we collect, and why
- Peptides and schedules: names, doses and units, how you take them, schedules, cycles and reminder times. Used to show your schedule, send your reminders and add doses to a calendar when you ask.
- Dose logs: doses you mark taken or skipped, amounts, times, injection sites and notes. Used to show your history, adherence and streaks, and to suggest the next injection site in the rotation you chose.
- Vial details: the amount in a vial and the liquid added. Used to calculate syringe units and the doses left.
This data is linked to your account (name, email address and phone number) so it can sync to your devices. We use it only to provide the features you ask for. We don't use it for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't use it for any other purpose.
Where it comes from
- From you, when you enter it in Cadence.
- From your device, when you mark a dose taken from a reminder notification.
Your rights and how to use them
- Confirm and access: you can confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, get a copy of it, and get a list of every third party and affiliate we've shared it with and how to contact them. Everything you've entered is visible in the app, and Settings → Your data → Export backup downloads a copy.
- Withdraw consent: delete your account in Settings → Account, or ask us to.
- Delete: deleting your account in Settings → Account deletes your consumer health data from our database right away. We also tell our processors to delete it, and it's removed from their routine backups as those backups expire.
- No discrimination: we won't treat you differently for using these rights.
To make a request, use the options above or email cadencessupport@gmail.com from your account's email address, so we can confirm it's you. We'll respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you, and we may take up to 45 more days when it's reasonably necessary. Requests are free up to twice a year.
Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll respond in writing within 45 days and explain what we did and why. If we deny your appeal, you can file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, or with the attorney general where you live.
Changes
We'll post changes here with a new effective date. Before we collect, use or share consumer health data in a new way, we'll ask for your consent.
